Pak Yosef is an academic farmer who decided to change his career as a marketing executive in order to help farmers in the area to improve the quality of their coffee to the specialty level.He only buys super ripe cherries from the farmers but guarantees a much higher price than other processors.He has also been a pioneer of multiplication of Typica Asli (genuine Typica variety) and Caturra Asli (genuine Caturra variety) in the region.His farms are inside a deep jungle of Tangkuban Perahu, which could only be reached via a dirt road by a 4WD and it takes 3 hours from his processing mill.
